My Century, My Bestie is a play that talks about how not to lose direction in a time of catastrophes. After the hope brought about by the Arab Spring and marked by the economic crisis, our time has led to public beheadings, terror for terror's sake, while refugees shipwrecked on our shores... My Century, My Beast focuses on the need for love, for consolation, for... Other. Through a series of knots, we travel from Spain to Syria, from the personal crisis of a woman to the terrorism of the globalized world. Three characters on a boat, three civilizations, three ways of understanding religion and the world. More than talking about these situations, Siglo mío, bestia mía offers a map, the emotional cartography of an era.
